Foley

Foley, named after its inventor Jack Foley, is the process of adding sound during post-production.
With the help of a recording engineer, the foley artist creates all natural sound effects, for example footsteps and clothes, etc.
This profession can most classically be described as banging two coconuts together to record horse-hooves.
This is in fact the way it is still done.
All sound effects are recorded in a Pro Tools DAW in our 80 sqm foley studio.
